COVID-19 pandemic is still in full swing: the number of infected people is increasing dramatically worldwide. Likewise, the situation in Serbia is getting serious, and it seems that we have not yet reached the peak of the disease. Until today, Serbia saw almost 5000 confirmed cases, with 99 people dead. And while the healthcare system in our country is far from great, it’s what many of us will have to rely on to protect our health as well as the health of our families and friends.
Over the last couple of weeks, Nutants have supported the Unicef Serbia initiative by donating money to buy essential medical equipment. As people from the tech industry, we are not on the frontline but we want to make a difference by supporting those who most need help – patients and healthcare workers.
UNICEF Serbia announced today that domestic companies donated $250,000 last week and thanked them for their support. We are very proud that Nutanix was among them.
Solidarity is what makes us more resilient and better prepared to fight challenges like this global pandemic, so please consider helping your local communities because this is the time when every dollar/euro/dinar counts. Stay safe.
